Writer and music lover living in Dublin, LEONARDO BIAGINI was born in Florence, Italy in 1994.
He graduated in Political Science specializing in Political Philosophy in 2017 at Cesare Alfieri University of Florence.
During this period he had several working experiences abroad.
In May 2021 he took a Master degree in International Relations specializing in History of the modern Middle East at the University of Florence.
He worked with an Intermediary Organization of the European Union for two years managing the project ‘Erasmus for young entrepreneurs’.
Two key family figures inspired his interest in philosophy and especially metaphysical philosophy: his uncle, a quite well known writer who is working in Berlin, and his grandfather who made him discover also his passion for classical music.
Following his interests he published three books with Papyrus Edition of Pistoia:
- Discorso Sull’Animo Umano – Enoch e la Via Allegorica dell’Esistenza (2018) – an essay on the apocryphal Gospels
- Ultima Papyrus Papalis (2020) – a letter centred on philosophical themes
- Rousseau, l’uomo e il progresso” (2021) – an essay about the author’s interpretation of Rousseau’s philosophy.
He also won several national and international poetry prizes as the ones awarded by Aletti Editore, Il Tiburtino, Il Federiciano, Stella alla Solidarietà Poetica Wikipoesia, Dantebus, just to name a few.
For many years Leonardo has also been a professional kickboxer and he is a certificated trainer of the World Association of Kickboxing Organization. Between 2015 and 2021 he won many important tournaments and he became the Italian champion of second division in 2018.
He cultivated an interest for classical music and opera. Johann Sebastian Bach, his grandpa’s favourite, stands at the centre of Leonardo’s early musical investigations, as well as of the music metaphysics concepts at the core of his books.
Yet, a new kind of music caught his attention and earned his passionate interest: the electronic music from the 90s, finding the actual intersection with his interests in metaphysics.
He started collecting vinyls of electro, house, and 70s-80s dance music, which joined his collection of classical music records.
In 2018 he met Edoardo Serra and started collaborating as content creator with the project Radiohousemusic, participating also with DjSets and Music selections, both in Vinyl and Digital.
He is co-founder with Renzo Nerucci and Alessandro Marchetti of the brand ‘Musical Mountain’, organising private parties in Tuscany.
In 2021 he did ‘La stagione dell’amore’ – ‘The season of love’: a well-known documentary podcast for Fango Radio about electronic music.
Now Leonardo is working as a DJ for many radio stations as Radiohousemusic, RadioLondraItalia, Wao Radio, RadioPistoiaWeb, Proxima Radio Dub and Fango Radio.
From December 2021 every Sunday he has his own program “The age of love” with the famous Phever Radio.ie in Dublin as a resident DJ.
