Courgettes “Frittelle” for your Summer aperitif

Pinocchio has been a friend of Ireland AM for many years. We would like to share the recipes Giuseppe Crupi, director of the Pinocchio Italian Cookery School, prepared live on the program to show how to embrace traditional dishes.

The recipe of the day is: courgettes “frittelle”.

Perfect to match with your Summer aperitifs and above all with the popular Spritz. Watch the video to learn how to prepare it even in the vegan version and gluten free.

Ingredients for about 26 “frittelle”:

450 gr courgettes
250 gr 00 flour
50 gr grated cheese (we suggest Parmesan)
225 gr beer
10 gr salt
pepper to your liking

peanut oil for frying

When the “frittelle” are ready add some salt to season them.
