Andrea Brunini, born in 1989 in Tuscany, began his music career in 2015 after spending the first part of his life focused on engineering. Growing up in Borgo a Mozzano, a village surrounded by nature, his early influences came from his environment and writing poetry. Though he received his first guitar at five, it wasn’t until his teenage years that he developed a serious interest in music, eventually turning his poems into songs.
His first album, Vietato calpestare i sogni, was released in 2016 and presented at Sanremo D.o.c. during the Festival di Sanremo. The album earned him awards for best band and best lyrics and music at various festivals. Following this success, he embarked on a European tour, performing in cities like Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
In 2017, Brunini released his second album, L’isola dei giocattoli difettosi, opening for the band Thegiornalisti at Gondar Park Arena in Gallipoli, with a capacity of 10.000 people. Over the years, he collaborated with several well-known musicians, including Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet, Kee Marcello of Europe, and Italian artists like Bandabardò.
Musically, Brunini blends folk-pop and rock with some electronic elements. His influences range from Lucio Dalla and David Bowie to Coldplay. His songwriting explores themes such as love, personal reflection, and broader societal issues, like in his single “Isole di Plastica,” which was focused on environmental concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2023, he released his latest EP, Altamente Infiammabile, a collection of songs addressing various topics, from nostalgia to current global challenges. In the first week of release of the album, released with well-known Italian producer Alberto Rapetti, four singles entered the top 20 of the Italian radio charts, alongside renowned names in the Italian music scene such as Coez, Ultimo, Madame, and Negramaro.
Brunini has performed more than 500 live shows in 2020, including two European tours. With over 500 live performances under his belt, he continues to grow artistically, creating music that reflects both his personal journey and the broader issues of the world around him. In 2024 he embarked on another European tour, starting in Romania and now in Ireland. As he looks ahead, he has plans for further tours and more music to share, proving his desire to keep evolving and connecting with his audience.
