Aaron Raschi, born in Rimini in 2001, had an early connection to music that developed over time. Growing up, he was surrounded by music thanks to his parents’ varied tastes, but it wasn’t until he turned sixteen that he began to study music seriously. By seventeen, he had started composing songs, and his dedication soon paid off. In 2021, Aaron won the 18-30 category at the Rimini-based Stella Nascente festival, a milestone that brought him both confidence and visibility as a rising artist.
From 2022 to 2023, Aaron advanced his training by enrolling in a music course at Up Music Studio in Cernusco sul Naviglio, near Milan. This experience allowed him to refine his skills and expand his musical horizons. Early in 2024, Aaron released his single Diana, partnering with CDF Records for a two-month promotional campaign. Later that year, he showcased his talent at Sanremo NEWTALENT in Rimini, performing at a popular club, Altromondo Studios.
Looking back, Aaron reflects on his connection with music, which has always felt deeply personal. “Growing up, there was always music at home,” he shares. “I think, in a way, I always knew this would be my path.” However, his early attempts at learning the piano were challenging. Though he tried it as a child, he initially felt it was something forced, so he gave it up. He briefly returned to the piano during middle school before setting it aside again. It wasn’t until 2017 that music became a serious pursuit for him.
The turning point came in 2018 when Aaron began writing songs to cope with the loss of his mother. Music became an emotional release, offering a meaningful outlet. “Writing was a way for me to process things,” he says. Over time, this passion deepened, leading him to his first recordings and eventually to a serious engagement with the music industry.
Aaron’s musical journey is closely guided by his vocal coach, Valentina Ariemma, who has a rich background in both classical and modern music. Having studied classical piano from the age of four and later focusing on vocal technique, Ariemma perfectioned her skills at the Accademia di Musica Moderna and the Conservatorio di Fermo. Since 2018, she has sung with the Rossini Orchestra of Pesaro and directed various choir projects, including a recent pop choir, “PopCorTraLeNote.” Her teaching includes work with young musicians like Aaron, where she shares her expertise in pop/rock technique through schools like Musicantiere in Riccione and Sonàrt in Pesaro, supporting both group and solo singers.
